Upcoming best YEAR - 2024
The success of ISRO in 2023 has set the stage for 2024, with the planning for at least 12 missions from Gaganyaan -1 to Mangalyaan - 2.

NISAR
NISAR is a joint mission between NASA and ISRO, which will have two radars in space to map Earth, to measure changes in the planet's surface, including movements as small as a centimetre.

GAGANYAAN - 1
Gaganyaan project envisages a demonstration of human spaceflight capability by launching a crew of 3 members to an orbit of 400 km for a 3-day mission.

MANGALYAAN - 2
Also known as Mars Orbiter Mission 2, it is ISRO's second mission to Mars. It aims to study the surface, atmosphere and climatic conditions of Mars.

SHUKRAYAAN - 1
Anticipated to launch in December 2024 or 2025, this will be India's first attempt to plan an orbiter mission to planet Venus to study its atmosphere.

INSAT 3DS
